Introduction to Computers
in the Classroom.
- This is the basic computer literacy course
for teachers that is offered by our department. When you have
taken it, you should feel pretty comfortable with computers,
and may become "The Computer Person" in your school!
In this course you will learn how to use the word processor,
data base, and spread sheet and how to use a graphics program
(SuperPaint). You will evaluate educational software, use the
World Wide Web, and create a simple program in HyperCard. Assignments
include making a newspaper, using ClipArt, and creating your
